My paintings always start from an interest in art

My paintings always start from an interest in art history. For example the BMPT art group and Baroque are a revelation to me in terms of architecture, space and art.

The works are inspired by classic landscape painting. In every creation, the fundamentals of painting are the main focus. Both the texture of the canvas, and the paint are always visible. The edges of the frame are part of the work.

I try to exclude visible handwriting in every work. When painting, I look for techniques by which no brush strokes are visible and colors are a result of seeming coincidence.

I refer in my paintings to drawing, sculpture, and textile and installation art.
