NL – Liesbeth Spruyt (1990) studeerde schilderkunst aan de Koninklijke Academie en behaalde een Master of Arts aan Sint-Lucas Antwerpen. Haar werk beweegt zich op de grens van representatie en abstractie, en omvat schilderijen, installaties en objecten. Ze verweeft invloeden uit o.a. de Renaissance, Barok en BMPT met hedendaagse referenties zoals consumentisme en social media.

ENG – Liesbeth Spruyt (1990) studied Painting at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and obtained a Master of Arts at Sint-Lucas Antwerp. Her work moves along the boundary between representation and abstraction, and includes paintings, installations, and objects. She weaves influences from the Renaissance, Baroque, and the BMPT group with contemporary references such as consumerism and social media.
