Spruyt onderzoekt in haar werk de grenzen tussen tekenkunst, sculptuur, installatie, textiel, architectuur en schilderkunst. In haar universum abstraheert zij observaties tot hun essentie en zoekt naar de totaalervaring van licht en kleur. Het werk verrast met een symbiose tussen het sobere handschrift en het bonte coloriet.

In her universe, she abstracts observations to their essence and seeks the total experience of light and color. Her work surprises with a symbiosis between a restrained painterly hand and a vibrant color palette.
